I remember living in the world where my mom said if you live in my house you go by my rules. If you even said something about calling 911 and the response was you have to make it to the phone first. There was no I-Phones, I-Pads, internet, apps or anything like that. You woke up on Sat mornings and watched cartoons like He-Man, Care Bears, or Smurfs, You knew that when the light went off in the streets if you were late getting home you were in trouble. When you were on punishment you were on punishment and that meant no playing outside, no going to your friend’s house or no talking on the phone. When they said no playing outside your whole world felt like it was about to end.
We aren’t going to even go into what it was like if your parent’s didn’t like some boy you were dating. Parents paying for your college. Those prices are so much that it’s nearly impossible to pay everything.
I haven’t heard any new updates on the case but it’s going to be interesting to see what is going to happen. It seems like you can sue people for anything these things.
