Acts 16:23-31
Weeping may endure at night but joy comes in the morning. My night won’t last forever. If I don’t get joy now I don’t know if I’m going to make it to tomorrow. When you are young you always say when I get older I am going to stay up all night. Come 630 pm and your parents already have you in the bed. When you get older staying up late isn’t a big deal. Most of the time you can’t sleep, or you are crying in the middle of the night, Midnight is in the middle of struggle or in the mist of sorrow. Somebody is making dollars off your demons. Learn how to generate your own joy. Lights go out, you have no power, What are you going to do? You are going to figure out how to get power.
Generate joy with your memory. I have been beaten with strength, I been called everything but the child of God. He has never left my side. I have to remember where he brought me from. I have joy for what God has already done for me.
Generate Joy with your mind. God works the night shift, He does his best work at night, he see’s, hears you at night. He’s not tired or on vacation. You may not be available to function between the eight to five. Only time you can get some peace is the night shift. The night doesn’t belong to the demons or the devils. Atmosphere changes when you praise the Lord. You can call someone’s house and the message that they have on their answering machine determines the message that you leave. If they say What’s up, you don’t know what they are going to say. If they say Praise God, you already know. It’s about time somebody brought praise about Jesus Christ. Just because you have the key don’t mean your locked up. You are already free. Acts 16:31 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved. Give God the glory, praise, serve him and love him. If it’s midnight that means you are on your way out. The night turns into the light. You don’t have to wait for daylight to shout. It’s morning now give joy now. It’s a new day, new period and a new era.
Generate Joy with your mouth.. Paul and Silas prayed. Prayer at the midnight hour. When you go into a hotel room what is the first thing that you are supposed to do? Cast out all the demons, the spirits. This room belongs to you. I don’t care if they go next door, down the hall they just aren’t going to be here.Everybody that doesn’t believe in God has to clear the room. This room is filled with praise.
We thank you for the midnight and we appreciate the daylight. You gave us a sense that we will make it because you already made it possible. As dark as it may be there is always light.
